VE Day 2020 takes place on Friday May 8 in the United Kingdom. This year, it will be on a Bank Holiday – a decision that has been made specially to honour the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, marks the day towards the end of World War Two when fighting against Nazi Germany came to an end in Europe. The holiday will form part of a three-day weekend of commemorative events.
To celebrate this momentous points in our history, we thought it would be nice to complete some crafts & history based home-learning to commemorate this event. Please see below some ideas you may wish to use and, as always, please share them with us as we’d love to see your designs/creations!
