We wrote to parents in the autumn term 2022 to explain the governments 2022 white paper plans for mainstream state-funded schools to provide a 32.5 hour week, or a 6.5 hour days, by September 2023. We asked for feedback from parents and Acorns After-school club provider.
The Governing Body considered the feedback from parents and Acorns which in this instance was positive and supportive of the changes.
As a result, the changes to the school day will be implemented from Monday 17th April 2023.
From April 17th 2023 School opening times will be as follows:-
- Door open 8.40am
- Registration closes at 8.50am
- End of the school day 3.15pm
- Which equates to 32 hours and 30 minutes a week.
